Just 10 minutes or so from Bungay, Halesworth or Harleston.

Annual BBQ
Saturday, July 19th, 18:00 - 22:00. We're hoping for a nice turnout this year so please come along if you can. And by all means, bring a friend or two.

Official launch/celebration of the completion of the 2025 hall 'upgrade' programme.
Saturday, October 4th. Everyone is welcome to come along and see first hand the improvements made to the hall during this year. This will also be an opportunity for the Committee to explain the reasons behind the changes, what East Suffolk Council are hoping to see in return for the generous grant provided, and how everyone in the village can benefit.
Halloween Evening
Friday, October 31st. Following on from last years very successful and enjoyable Halloween night, we're doing it all again!
Christmas Lunch
Saturday, December 8th. Always a lovely event, and a good test this year for the new kitchen facilities.
Christmas Party! **New event**
Saturday, December 20th. This will be a fun Christmas Party evening for everyone young and old. A limited number of tickets available from October 1st. We're hoping this will be a great night for everyone so make sure you get your tickets early to avoid disappointment. More details to follow.

HALL NOW HAS BROADBAND!
Free wi-fi is now available for anyone using the hall or attending an event. This will allow users to stream internet content on the new large screen due to be installed shortly.
FLOOR RESTORATION COMPLETED
The professional restoration of the hall floor has been completed and looks fabulous! It's nice and light, and looking very smart with the new badminton lines.
SOLAR UP AND RUNNING
The biggest part of the grant award, the solar power, is up and running and providing immediate savings. Thanks to Lee Lewis of Lewis Electrical who did a great job.
EXCITING NEWS: GRANT FOR MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS AWARDED!
We are thrilled to announce that our village hall has been awarded a grant following a competitive bidding process. This funding will allow us to make significant improvements that will benefit our community.

GRANT APPLICATION WEEK
The grant board begins this week to review and award the Community Hub grants. A lot of work was put into our bid and it will make a very positive impact if we are successful.
Successful FUN QUIZ night
Friday, February 28th. Winners were the Swimmers from St. Cross. Packed night. Much laughter. Sudden quiet - 'When was the sat nav included in the driving test?' (Answer was 2017.) Did anyone actually know?
Thanks everyone who came to the Bingo night on Friday, February 14th. Cold outside but nice and warm in the hall. Another fun night. Why not come and join us at the next Bingo night on March 14th?
Grant applicationOur 'Community Hub' grant application has been submitted to East Suffolk. This includes solar power, kitchen facilities, broadband, projector/screen facilities, and restoration of the floor. Hopefully, we will be successful.
Open MeetingThank you everyone who attended the Open Meeting on December 2nd. It was very positive and really worth while. A lot of valuable input. We should know around mid-March whether our bid is sucessful.
Christmas LunchOver 70 people attended the annual Christmas Sunday Lunch on December 8th. Everyone involved helped to create a lovely meal including turkey and all the trimmings - despite waking up to find that once again, no electric in the village! And a nice surprise when Father Christmas dropped in.
